Raakel Bloody Raakel - Selfrape

Raakel Sild, aka Raakel Bloody Raakel, was born in 1977 in Tallinn,
Estonia, a country then occupied by the Soviet Union in the far
north-east of Europe.

Drawn to music when very young, aged four he went to preparatory school.
He started studying classical piano in the Tallinn Music High School
in 1984 and specialised in piano at the Estonian Academy of Music from 1995.
His interest in electronic music began to grow and he composed his
first track in February 1996. Two years later the piano studies were
switched completely
to electronic music composition and in 2001 Raakel graduated as the
first person in Estonia with a bachelor's degree in electronic music
composition.

Raakel has been performing his compositions, mostly techno and
electro, at parties, clubs and festivals since 1998, becoming one of
the strongest techno-musicians
in Estonia who plays and mixes live only his own original tracks.
